Every member starts with a Classic account, and there is no charge for it. You can create an account, build a full profile, add photos, browse members and receive daily match suggestions. You can post status updates, comment on posts, join in with polls and quizzes, verify your ID and earn badges. You can also send a limited number of messages each day, and read and reply to any message a VIP or VIP Plus member sends you. There is more on all of this on the free dating page.
What VIP adds
VIP is the membership for people who want to talk freely. It adds unlimited messaging, advanced search filters so you can look by city and distance, members-only chat rooms, private group chats for up to 50 people, a rewind for profiles you passed on, the full list of everyone who has liked you, and priority placement for your comments.
What VIP Plus adds
VIP Plus includes everything in VIP and puts you in front of people first. Your profile sits at the top of other members' daily match suggestions, your messages and likes are placed ahead of others, and you get access to exclusive matches. VIP Plus members can also buy two add-ons: a profile boost, which shows your profile to active members in your area, and Super Match, a highlighted message your match always sees first. Membership prices
Both memberships are sold for a week, a month, three months, six months or a year. The longer the membership, the less it costs per month.

The per-month figure for a one-week membership is what a month would cost at the weekly price.
No surprises when you renew
Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month memberships renew automatically at the same price at the end of each period, until you cancel. A one-month VIP membership, for example, renews every month at the same price. Twelve-month memberships do not renew automatically: when the year is up, the membership ends unless you choose to buy another.
Cancel whenever you like
You can cancel any time before your next renewal date, and you will not be charged again. Cancelling stops the renewal, so there are no charges you did not expect. If you only want a month or two to meet someone, a monthly membership you cancel in good time, or a twelve-month one that simply ends, keeps things predictable.
Choosing the right one
If you want to see what the site is like in your area, a week of VIP is enough to message a few people and try the advanced search. If you are serious about meeting someone, the longer memberships cost far less per month and give you time to get to know people without watching the calendar. VIP Plus is for people who want to be seen first, which helps most in quieter rural areas where every introduction counts. Whatever you choose, read our safety advice before a first meeting.

Can I use Westcountry Singles without paying?
Yes. A Classic account is free and includes a profile, photos, browsing, daily match suggestions and a limited number of messages each day. You can also read and reply to every message from VIP and VIP Plus members.
Does my membership renew automatically?
Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month memberships renew at the same price until you cancel. Twelve-month memberships do not renew automatically.

What is the difference between VIP and VIP Plus?

Are boosts and Super Matches included?
