Cornwall
Members spread from Bude to Penzance, centred on Truro and Bodmin, with slightly more men than women.
Somerset
Taunton, Bridgwater, Yeovil and Weston-super-Mare, and the Levels and Quantocks between them.
Dorset
Weymouth, Dorchester, Poole and Bournemouth, and the county where members over 65 are the biggest group.
Bristol
The city with the most members of any on the site, and the youngest mix, with more women than men.

Somerset's busiest town on the site, with somewhat more men than women.

Who you will meet in each county
The age mix differs more than you might expect from one county to the next. This is how it looks in broad terms.

Numbers alone do not tell you much about who you will click with. A quieter area can be ideal if you want a short list of people who all live within a few miles, while a busier city gives you more choice but more profiles to read. It is usually easiest to start close to home and widen the search later.

Members in Wiltshire and Gloucestershire are welcome and appear in search, from Salisbury and Trowbridge to Gloucester and Cheltenham, though there are fewer of them and they have no page of their own yet. Most are 55 or over. If you live near a county line, a slightly wider search radius brings in people from the neighbouring county as well.
