Membership Prices for Over 40s Dating in the West Country

A VIP membership on Mature Westcountry Singles costs £14.99 for a week or £24.95 for a month, and longer lengths cost less per month, down to £9.99 a month on a twelve-month plan. VIP Plus costs £15.99 for a week or £34.24 for a month, down to £17.34 a month over twelve months. Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month plans renew until you cancel. Twelve-month plans do not renew.

Pick the membership that suits you

Classic membership, which every member starts on, lets you build your profile, browse members, receive daily suggestions and send a limited number of messages each day. A paid membership is for talking without limits. There are two tiers, VIP and VIP Plus, and each is sold for a week, a month, three months, six months or twelve months. VIP is the membership most people need: unlimited messaging, search by city and distance, the members-only chat rooms, private group chats and the list of everyone who has liked you. No surprises when it renews

Weekly, monthly, three-month and six-month memberships renew at the same price at the end of each period until you cancel. A one-month VIP membership, for example, carries on month by month at the same price until you stop it.

The twelve-month membership is different. It is a single payment for a full year and it does not renew automatically. When the year is up, nothing more is taken, and you can buy another membership only if you want one. That suits anyone who would rather not have a renewal date to keep track of.

Cancel whenever you like

You can cancel a renewing membership at any time in your account settings. Do it before the next renewal date and you will not be charged again. It is your decision, whenever you choose, and a quick note of your renewal date when you buy saves any surprise.

Choosing the right length for you

A week or a month is a sensible choice if you want to message a few people and see who writes back. Most people dating in their fifties and sixties take things more slowly than the apps assume: many like a few weeks of conversation before a first meeting, and nobody wants to feel hurried by a clock. If that sounds like you, three or six months gives you room at a much lower monthly cost, and the twelve-month plan is the cheapest per month of all, with no renewal to remember.

Choose VIP Plus if you would like your messages and likes to be seen first and your profile to sit at the top of other members' daily suggestions. It makes most sense in the busier areas, such as Exeter, Plymouth and Bristol, where there are more profiles competing for attention.

Classic members have a full profile with photos, browse members, receive daily match suggestions, post status updates, join in with polls and quizzes, and take the free ID check.
